We’re currently on the road, I-10 bound for LA. Last time we did this route was to go ride the Santa Monica Mountains a few months ago.
Slightly different feel to this trip. Jason & Luca will be with me tonight, dropping me off at the tour hotel tomorrow morning.
Drive set up
To keep my chain clean while driving through the windy desert, I decided to remove it for the drive. I checked we had it about 5 times. Ha! I used a small strap to hold the pedals from spinning.
New Ring
This morning I was able to finish up a ring I wanted to take on trip. Nice to have a few hours that felt like it was just another day… with little thought to being gone for 2 months.
Packed bags!
Packing went really well. I still plan to take “packing” pictures of my gear. Maybe tomorrow night I can swing that. I did customize my bags from the company with iron-on cricut designs I made. Now my bags will stand out when I go to grab them!
